About the LCMCCA
The Louisiana City Marshals Association was formed in 1962. Later it was changed to Louisiana City Marshals Association and City Constables to promote a harmonious cooperation among all City Court Marshals and City Court Constables in the State of Louisiana. Another goal of the association is the cultivation of fellowship among those having a common interest as the executive officers of the city or municipal courts. In all parishes except East Baton Rouge and Orleans, the title of "marshal" is used. The term "constable" applies to these officials in the parishes of East Baton Rouge and Orleans.
The "association" is comprised of the following officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary-Treasurer, Sergeant-at-Arms, and Past President. The Executive Board is made up of these officers and the ten district Vice-Presidents.
